Children need more than rules to follow and consequences for disobedience. They need parents who will patiently teach them God's Word, help them recognize the attitudes and desires behind their behavior, and guide them toward loving God and others.

Training Hearts for Jesus helps parents understand the difference between childishness and sinful behavior, respond with loving and purposeful discipline, and use everyday situations as opportunities for biblical instruction.

How the Course Works

Training Hearts for Jesus is a 14-week, live online biblical parenting course designed to help parents grow together in their understanding and application of God's Word.

Live, Interactive Classes

Join Mario and Sharon Cannavo on Zoom each Monday evening from 7:00–9:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Our classes provide opportunities to learn, ask questions, and grow alongside other parents.

Weekly Study and Assignments

Each week, you'll access your lesson materials and assigned instructional videos through your online course dashboard. You'll also complete readings, homework, and practical assignments designed to help you apply biblical principles in your home.

Learning Together as Parents

We require husbands and wives to commit to attending the weekly classes together. God has entrusted both parents with the responsibility of raising their children, and we believe it is essential for mothers and fathers to grow together in their understanding and application of biblical parenting principles.

Learning together helps couples develop a shared biblical foundation, strengthen their unity, and work together in shepherding their children's hearts.

Recorded Class Option

Because we value live interaction, recorded participation is reserved primarily for families who live two or more hours outside the Pacific Time Zone or whose circumstances genuinely prevent live attendance. A brief questionnaire helps us understand your situation.
